Hernandez Consulting & Construction was the prime contractor providing all material, equipment, labor, supervision, and expertise necessary for the construction of a new 13,400 SQFT, 2-story Dental Clinic for the VA Hospital in Shreveport, LA. Work included site preparation, site utilities, site work, mechanical, electrical, communication and security systems and new building construction. The new Dental Clinic has a 2-stop hydraulic elevator with waiting, reception and administrative on both the first and second floors. The construction provided for a total of 15 operatories, 2 panoramic x-ray rooms, two (2) dental laboratories. Rooms were prepared for emergency exams and surgery. Hernandez also furnished and installed all dental laboratory equipment, a dental vacuum system, an air compressor system and amalgam collectors.
