Hernandez Consulting & Construction completed the installation of a 66.3kW PV parking canopy and solar water heating system at the new PMRS building, as part of a joint venture with South Coast Solar. The PV system consists of 250 Suniva 255-Watt solar modules and ABB Aurora inverters, which were selected to match the existing inverter fleet already deployed across the site. The solar heating system consists of 21 Heliodyne solar collectors, 600-gallon storage tank, and an HCOM heat transfer appliance. Heat from the system is used for reheating, pool heat, and domestic loads.
