Hernandez Consulting & Construction was the prime contractor for the project is located at the Child Development Center located on NAS Belle Chasse in Belle Chasse, LA. Building is situated on Concord Road between Brown Avenue and Rinard Road. Scope of work is inclusive of interior and exterior architectural modifications to existing conditions. Hernandez Consulting & Construction began by verifying current conditions of the existing structures, surroundings, appurtenance, etc. and then designing successful construction to upgrade interior and exterior. Exterior work included two (2) playgrounds on the front, northeast side of the building under one (1) large pad and under one (1) large canopy. There were also extensive walkways under canopies tying together separate buildings, play areas, parking lots. Etc. Because the work was completed around a building occupied by children, Hernandez took extra care to secure the work area and to keep is safe and secure around the clock.
