It is the policy of Hernandez Consulting & Construction to promote the use of Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, Women-Owned Small Business, HUB-Zone Small Business, Veteran-Owned Small Business, and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business concerns. As a CVE-Certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, we realize the value small businesses can bring to a project and encourage their use and growth.

When soliciting quotes, we identify whether or not potential subcontractors are small businesses and give consideration to those small business firms that can competently and competitively perform the work for which they have been solicited. When the magnitude of a project makes it difficult for a small business to undertake the total volume of a subcontracted work item, Hernandez Consulting & Construction will work with small contractors to obtain portions of work they can reasonably manage, and request that larger subcontractors do the same.
