Hernandez Consulting & Construction performed major repairs for the United States Coast Guard Buoy Depot in South Weymouth, Massachusetts.
Work included replacing the roof, insulation, gutter and downspouts. Replacement of exterior metal siding, windows, exterior doors and awnings, exhaust fans at welding areas, and provide makeup air unit and associated controls were included in base work. Also included was the replacement of lighting including exterior building mounted lighting and interior work lighting and the electrical panel.
Hernandez replaced the perimeter security fence and main gate, reconfigured site access from Trotter Road and provided new personnel and swing gates, new parking lot and entrance to property. We replaced the south-facing coiling overhead door and north-facing coiling overhead door in the 1996 building addition. After replacements and repairs, we painted the interior of the structural steel and replace the HVAC in the administrative area.
