Hernandez Consulting & Construction completed improvements to help repair Hurricane Katrina damages suffered to Nunez Community College. Work included to existing building and building systems necessary to accommodate placement of new work; repairs to existing interior walls to receive fire rated construction; and repairs and/or replacement of ceiling systems to accommodate installation of new walls, and lighting, automatic fire suppression systems or special systems; concrete repairs to accommodate new work at ramps, landings, and paved areas. New work included providing full automatic fire suppression systems, sprinkler riser, sprinkler, riser room, flow and tamper switches, sprinkler room, and tie-in to municipal water service.
