Hernandez Consulting & Construction was the prime contractor for the renovation of the existing New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) Training Academy building to be used as the new headquarters for the NOPD Third District. This included abatement, interior renovations, mechanical, electrical and some exterior work. Hernandez provided the new Floor Ops canopy and the new electrical devises and new electrical fixtures for the Fleet Ops canopy. Renovations also included six new replacement windows, three for room 105 and three for room 106. Hernandez replaced the roof at the existing exterior covered walkway.
