Design/build replacement of the roof membrane, each of the three cooling towers, and four mechanical pumps at the John Joseph Moakley Federal Courthouse. The roof membrane was updated to an EDPM roof. All three cooling towers and new supply and return pipes have been replaced with the addition of two new gate valves. New heat trace and insulation was provided to cover exterior pipes. In the mechanical basement four pumps were replaced with new check valves and shut-off valves. The pumps were connected to four new VFD’s to monitor flow and maximize efficiency.
