Hernandez Consulting handled the project management for real estate appraisal work on tracts of land being acquired by the federal government for reforestation purposes. In our capacity we served as the intermediary between the USDA and the firms conducting the appraisals. We also conducted the quality control testing to ensure that the appraisals are meeting the needs of the government. Some of the issues encountered revolved around rework required to meet very detailed and specific government requirements that differed from standard commercial-type appraisals.

Hernandez Consulting handled the project management for canal and channel debris removal projects in four separate Parishes in Louisiana. Hernandez Consulting handled the project management, logistics coordination, and safety oversight for simultaneous projects. This debris removal work included the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals required to remove and dispose of the debris in an around a number of channels running through both private and government land.

Hernandez Consulting upgraded and replaced the security camera and monitoring system at the VA Mather Facility. In this project we have coordinated security systems integration with the VA IT network, and after conducting an in-depth analysis of the VA's security needs, we have engineered an improved solution over the original requirement developed by the contracting staff.
